Katrina Farrugia has been elected as the new KPS Commissioner following an election held on Wednesday evening.
Farrugia was elected with 20 votes compared to 11 votes gathered by her opponent, Jessica Pace.
The role of KPS Commissioner is elected exclusively by senate recognised student organisations who are active within KSU’s Social Policy commission.
Farrugia most recently served as the President of Betapsi Malta, the student organisation representing psychology students at University.
She will join Naomi Deguara within KSU’s Social Policy office for the next term after Deguara, who served in MHSA, was elected to the role uncontested earlier this month.
