The National Youth Council, KNZ, have announced their new Executive Committee which will take office for the forthcoming two year term. The new council is a blend of experience and backgrounds, with a number of new and more experienced faces being brought to the table.
Sean Ellul, who served as the council’s Secretary General for the past term, will take over the mantle of president succeeding Michael Piccinino in the role. Adrian Dominic Ellul will be the council’s Vice President while Chiara Vassallo will take on the role of Secretary General after they both served in the previous committee as Policy & Youth Rights Commissioner and Projects Officer respectively. Eman Borg meanwhile retains the role he held previously as Sustainable Development Goals Officer, although this office now also has the Commonwealth under its remit.
Other new faces to the council include Beppe Galea from the National Scout Youth Council, former KSU Social Policy Officer Celine Talbot and current ELSA Treasurer Liam Axisa. The new executive committee in full consists of:

In a statement published following the announcement of the new committee, the new executive thanked the previous administration for its hard work and dedication throughout the last two years during which the council had a strong voice on the national agenda and brought a number of important issues to the front line such as mental health. The statement read that the new committee looks forward to furthering the work of the previous one on such issues and building on the previous work done to strengthen the voice of youths in the country.
