Thousands descended on the Fosos in Floriana two nights ago for the famous Isle of MTV concert to enjoy the annual musical spectacle, and while that event may be over now, Malta Music Week is only just getting started and there’s world superstars such as Martin Jensen still to look forward to.
World superstars Ava Max, Bebe Rexa, and Martin Garrix wowed thousands in Floriana on Tuesday, in what was the 13th edition of the Isle of MTV festival, an event which was followed by an after-party hosted by Vibe FM.
That was however only the first day of Malta Music Week – and proceedings continued last night with the first Mamacita Wednesday of the Summer, with Italy’s number 1 club sensation bringing the very best in hip-hop and reggaeton music.
Today partygoers will be given something a bit different, and it will be the perfect opportunity to cool off from the Mediterranean heatwave, through the Malta Music Week Boat Party – giving partygoers the opportunity to dive into the Mediterranean Sea whilst enjoying the best sunset grooves. Tickets cost €35 and boarding time is at 6:30pm, with the boat sailing off into the sunset at 7pm sharp.
End the week in style on Friday, with a star-studded Sound Salon and G7 Fridays lineup, which features the DJ behind Rudimental at Gianpula Main Room. Tickets cost €10, but if you’re a Sound Salon or G7 faithful, you can use your membership card to get into this event as well. Doors open at 11pm, and the party will draw long into the night.
What better way to spend your Saturday than by the pool? Malta Music Week here has you covered; head to Medasia Playa from 2pm onwards for a pool party with M-22 as the main special guests. Tickets cost €15, but you can bump up to a VIP ticket for €30.
Closing Malta Music Week in style, Danish DJ Martin Jensen – best known for his hit single ‘Solo Dance’ – will be playing at Cafe Del Mar. Standard tickets are €20 while VIP tickets are €35 and doors will open at 7:30pm.
If you weren’t sure how you were going to spend your week; Malta Music Week definitely has you covered. You can book tickets for any of these events at https://www.isleofmtv.com/en-mt/ckets/ennljb/malta-music-week
